APS Indonesia attend the Monaco Yacht Show 2019

Asia Pacific Superyachts Indonesia is pleased to report that company Directors Arie Kuswandari and Capt Jimmy Blee have returned to Indonesia after a very successful representation trip to the Monaco Yacht Show.

“The MYS was a wonderful showcase event for APS Indonesia to promote our services and Indonesia as one of the premier cruising destinations in the region” remarked Capt Jimmy. “The focus of the world superyacht industry is all in one place at Monaco for this fabulous four days of glitz and glamour.”

Asia Pacific Superyachts Indonesia was in attendance at MYS in conjunction with their Membership collaborators: Asia Pacific Superyachts regional network, Superyacht Group Great Barrier Reef, Superyacht Australia and APSA [Asia Pacific Superyachts Association].

With affiliations to these groups, APS Indonesia gained valuable networking opportunities that put our team in contact with Captains and key superyacht Industry figures and allowed our team to highlight the virtues and attractions of cruising Indonesia waters and destinations.

It was wonderful to see and catch up with Captains and crew who had used APS Indonesia in the past. The atmosphere at Monaco show really allows everyone to interact in a social setting allowing confidences and destination information exchanges to flow easily.

This was Ibu Arie’s first Monaco representation and she was particularly enthusiastic to see the importance of Asia Pacific Superyachts Indonesia being at the show this year and for the future, and sees a further opportunity in coming years to promote Indonesia’s cultural heritage as part of any Superyachts cruising planning to the Asia Pacific region.

“Being my first Monaco Yacht Show, I can now see an unlimited potential for future shows to showcase Indonesia and its culture” said Ibu Arie.

“I think for next year we will bring a more complete Indonesian representation including dancers and perhaps a shadow puppet show” continued Arie.

Jimmy and Arie both report that Asia Pacific Superyachts Indonesia’s participation at MYS will continue to be an important part of the companies yearly promotional activity and look forward to seeing all of their friends, clients and network collaborators at next years event.

Notwithstanding this Capt Jimmy has a busy 2020 promotions plan to start early in the year where he will be attending Miami Boat show and an Australian Superyacht Rendezvous in Phuket in February.

See you there.
